Lofdal Community Church International

Lofdal Community Church International was planted by Pastors George and Jennifer Emedi in September 2006.

The church was started in a house where a few people met every Wednesday evening for an Evangelism Service.  The service was started as a result of a growing burden for the people of Maitland who seemed in desperate need for the gospel of restoration.  Many people were not part of a church.  The burden to change this situation resulted in a dynamic service which grew very quickly.

The house soon became overcrowded as we needed to purchase chairs to accommodate the growing crowd.  It soon became apparent that we needed a bigger venue to meet. 

In May 2006, God opened an amazing door.  We found a building big enough to accommodate about 150 people.  For a few months we only met on Wednesdays until it became clear to us that God was leading us to establish a church. this we did by faith.

On the 10th September we started Sunday morning services.  AFM Community Church was launched.  A few months later we affiliated the ministry with Lofdal International and our church was renamed to become Lofdal Community Church.
